Read your analytics

What the Analytics page shows, how to find your hit rate, which clips to copy, and the three questions to ask your own numbers every week.

Analytics is where you find out what to make more of. It takes five minutes a week and it is the difference between a hit rate that climbs and one that does not.

What is on the page

Four totals at the top: Views across every clip, Earned, Submissions and Approved. Under them, a chart of views over time, and a breakdown by platform and by campaign.

Your Earnings page has its own chart of earnings by day, with a hover card showing what landed on each day.

Views, last 30 days

  1. 1Totals across every clip: views, what you have earned, how many clips you submitted and how many were approved. Approved ÷ Submissions is your approval rate.
  2. 2Views over time. A spike is a clip that took off; go back to that day's source and cut more like it.

The three numbers that matter

Hit rate. How many of your clips did well, out of how many you posted. Sort your Submissions by views. Count the ones above, say, 10,000. Divide by the total. One in thirty is a normal start. One in ten is very good.

Floor. Where your worst clips land. If most of your clips sit under 300 views, they are failing their first test group, which points at the first three seconds. Why most clips get 200 views goes through the fixes.

Platform split. Which app is doing the work. It is common for one platform to carry most of the views for a given niche. That does not mean stop posting on the others (they cost two minutes), but it tells you where to put the extra care.

The weekly review

Every week, ask three questions:

  1. 1What did my top three clips have in common? Same source? Same kind of first line? Same length? Same time of day? Whatever it is, do it on purpose next week.
  2. 2What did my bottom ten have in common? Usually a slow start or a moment that needed context. Stop doing that.
  3. 3Which campaign paid the most per clip? Not per view, per clip. A high rate with a low cap and a low rate with a high cap can come out very differently depending on where your clips land. Put more of your week into the one that pays you.

Copying your own hits

When a clip does well, go back to the same source video and cut three more moments in the same style: same kind of line, same energy, same first frame format. Post them the same day. The apps already know who liked the first one.

Things people ask

Why do views on Analytics differ from the app? Analytics shows the last count read by the platform's scheduled sync. The app is live. They meet at the next read.

Do rejected clips count? Their views show in totals; their earnings do not, because nothing was committed.

Can I export it? Not yet. The chart and the Submissions list are the whole picture for now.

Is there a leaderboard? Each campaign page has one, showing the top clippers on that campaign by views. Your Analytics page is private.
